Xometry Europe demonstrates its high quality standards by becoming ISO 9001 certified

Munich – Manufacturing marketplace Xometry Europe has been given official recognition of its quality management with ISO 9001:2015 certification. SGS-TÜV Saar confirmed in early December that the company meets the high standards of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in areas such as customer focus, handling of potential risks and quality policy. This comes just one year after Xometry entered the European market, acknowledging the European activities of the world’s largest manufacturing marketplace. Albert Belousov, Managing Director of Xometry Europe, described the certification as “the well-deserved recognition of our work”.

He identified the careful selection of suppliers as an important element. The manufacturing partners operating throughout the European network and parts that they produce are regularly checked by a dedicated quality team.

This and numerous other quality-related processes were reviewed in the ISO audit at Xometry Europe. In addition, the TÜV auditors asked questions on the set of requirements for ISO 9001:2015. This certification represents an international standard that defines the requirements for internal quality management. With the help of the standard, companies can become more efficient and achieve higher customer satisfaction. For this purpose, the areas of a company are analysed by independent auditors, the existing processes are clarified and possible suggestions for improvements are given.
