Projects We’ve Supported

TUM tunnel boring machine back view

From student competition to award-winning engineering

A student team from the Technical University of Munich (Germany) designed and built a fully functional tunnel boring machine to compete in the Not-a-Boring Competition. Xometry supported the project with parts production across multiple processes, helping the team move from CAD to competition-ready hardware on a student budget.

Pushing the limits of electric motorsport

Oxford Brookes Racing has been designing and building high-performance electric race cars since 1999. Xometry provides manufacturing support for custom components that meet the tight tolerances and fast iteration cycles demanded by Formula Student competition (UK).

Student-led aerospace engineering at competition level

Propulse NTNU is a student rocketry team developing advanced liquid-propellant rockets at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (Norway). For Project Valemon, Xometry supplied precision-manufactured components to help the team meet the engineering and safety standards required for competitive rocketry.
