That experience completely changed the direction of his career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, based in Valencia, Stefano leads a Xometry\u2019s Italian sales team, helping manufacturers embrace a faster, more digital way of working.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Building Trust in a Traditional Industry<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Leading the Italian market comes with unique challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIn Italy, relationships are extremely important in manufacturing,\u201d Stefano explains. \u201cPeople want to know who they are working with. Very often, business starts with a coffee and a conversation before anything else.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That mindset initially made some companies cautious about adopting a digital manufacturing platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAt the beginning, some customers were sceptical because our model is very different from traditional sourcing,\u201d he says. \u201cBut once they understand that we are not just a platform, we are a real partner that helps simplify their work, everything changes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Stefano, building trust is just as important as delivering results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His team works closely with customers to help them move away from managing multiple suppliers and toward a more streamlined, reliable process through Xometry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhat I enjoy most is helping companies realise there is a smarter way to work,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>From Individual Contributor to Team Leader<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stefano joined Xometry as a Key Account Manager before growing into his current leadership role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The transition taught him an important lesson: sales is not only about performance, but it is also about people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cLeading a team pushed me to develop completely new skills,\u201d he says. \u201cYou learn how to motivate different personalities, how to prioritise, and how to make decisions quickly.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, he manages a team focused on the Italian market while collaborating daily with Marketing, Operations, and Engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNot two days are the same,\u201d Stefano says. \u201cOne moment I am discussing strategy with the team, the next I am solving a customer challenge or working with engineers on a complex project.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That fast-moving environment is exactly what keeps him motivated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI like building things,\u201d he says. \u201cNot only business growth, but also teams and relationships.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"903\" height=\"943\" src=\"https:\/\/xometry.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/stefano-di-giuda-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-177786\" srcset=\"https:\/\/xometry.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/stefano-di-giuda-2.png 903w, https:\/\/xometry.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/stefano-di-giuda-2-460x480.png 460w, https:\/\/xometry.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/stefano-di-giuda-2-768x802.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 903px) 100vw, 903px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>An International Mindset<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before settling in Valencia, Stefano lived in Berlin, Dublin, and Santiago \u2014 experiences he believes shaped both his personality and leadership style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cLiving in different countries teaches you adaptability very quickly,\u201d he says. \u201cYou learn how to communicate with different people, understand different perspectives, and stay curious.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That curiosity continues to guide him today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI would tell my younger self to keep taking risks and not be afraid of making mistakes,\u201d Stefano says. \u201cEvery experience teaches you something valuable.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Growing with Xometry<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Stefano, one of the biggest motivations at Xometry is the opportunity to grow quickly and continuously learn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIf you are proactive and committed, you can evolve very fast here,\u201d he says. \u201cThere is a lot of trust and responsibility from the beginning.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking back at his own journey \u2014 from Key Account Manager to Sales Leader \u2014 Stefano sees curiosity as the common thread.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNever lose your curiosity,\u201d he says. \u201cThat is what ultimately drives growth.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When Stefano Di Giuda studied business management in Italy, he imagined a future in financial analysis, not leading sales teams across Europe. \u201cI liked numbers,\u201d he says with a smile.
