Our first interaction with Xometry dates back to 2019, when you were operating as Tridi. We were working on an Ru0026amp;D project, and although all the parts were ready, we needed a revision. I reached out to both domestic and international suppliers for quotes, but the prices were generally high, or the delivery times were too long. We would have had to handle the customs processes ourselves, and if there were any issues with the parts, we would have had to send them back abroad. In addition to this, the company manufactures a wide range of products, including optical devices, industrial cameras, machine vision lenses, lighting systems, filters, and measurement equipment. Since its founding, G\u00f6kser Vision has developed numerous camera-based measurement devices, producing electronic circuit boards and software in-house to ensure complete control over quality and functionality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Easy Shaft Series includes various machines tailored to specific applications. The Easy Shaft Nano is designed for small parts, such as dental implants, while the Easy Shaft 350 and 550 are high-precision measurement devices for industrial applications. Xometry’s expertise has been instrumental in producing critical components for these models, including shaft spindles, sleeve mounts, engine bearings, and moving tailstocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Currently, G\u00f6kser Vision is preparing to launch the Easy Shaft 750 Series, a machine capable of measuring up to 750 mm. This cutting-edge product places G\u00f6kser Vision among only three companies globally that produce such advanced measurement devices. Once again, Xometry is playing a key role in the production of essential components for the Easy Shaft 750 right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n While G\u00f6kser Vision had extensive experience with prototyping, their collaboration with Xometry became more intensive as they transitioned to mass production. Some of their projects required the production of numerous parts and the management of complex supply chain solutions. To address these needs, Xometry\u2019s manufacturing partners in Turkey and China handled the production of intricate components.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Co-founder G\u00f6khan Hankolu explained that, before partnering with Xometry, the company considered investing in CNC machines and hiring additional staff. <\/p>\n\n\n\n However, they ultimately decided against it due to the comprehensive solutions offered by Xometry\u2019s digital platform: <\/p>\n\n\n Before working with Xometry, we were considering investing in additional machinery, equipment and employees. However, this would have created a significant operational burden for us. Thanks to Xometry\u2019s solutions, these investments became unnecessary. I contacted Ali T\u00fcrkmen, Xometry\u2019s Business Development Manager, and explained the situation. He introduced us to your framework model, which allowed us to schedule part deliveries for specific dates. This was crucial for avoiding high stock costs.
